The Gumnut Place: Home

Gumnut House.jpgThe Gumnut Place is more than just good business, it has been supporting people with a disability and their families in the communities of the South Burnett for nearly 30 years.

Known simply as 'Gumnut', this busy Australian Disability Enterprise was established in 1986 by a committed group of families and friends of people with a disability as a response to their needs. Since then, it has grown and been developed by the community, local council and from 2008, South Burnett CTC Inc. Today, Gumnut provides meaningful supported employment opportunities for up to 20 people with disabilities in the South Burnett.

Gumnut has five distinct business units which enjoy the support of local businesses and the community and our staff are always willing to meet the unique needs of our customers. Whether it be commemorative plaques, to ironing or the best jam drops in town, Gumnut is always happy to help.
