Behaviour, Communication & Community Interactive Workshops by Ann Greer
15 (Murgon) -16 (Kingaroy) July

Ann Greer reflects that much of her learning and understanding has come from her greatest teachers, people with disabilities themselves, including her son and daughter. Her distinctive presentations are practical, understandable and relevant to supporting real lives for people with a disability. She has over ten years formal experience in working with people who have challenging behaviour and is well-known and highly sought after presenter in Australia and New Zealand.

What are these workshops about? Understanding behaviour, influences on behaviour and how we can plan and respond to behaviour for the community participation and quality of life for people with a disability.

We will do this by: Discussing what behaviour is and the impact of certain impairments on a person’s understanding, behaviour and communication and the importance of context and planning in supporting their life in community. The practical application of some simple principles of analysis and behaviour support for community life.
