National Volunteer Week — Thanks 1.2 million

The 1.2 million Queenslanders who volunteer help make this state great. We need your help during National Volunteer Week, from 13 to 19 May, to say thanks to all the volunteers who have made a difference in your organisation this year.

National Volunteer Week is the biggest celebration of volunteers in Australia. You can get involved by planning an event to thank your volunteers for their efforts where you could present them with a Certificate of Recognition, or you might send them a thank you e-card.

The Queensland Government is proud to sponsor Volunteering Queensland's National Volunteer Week events and activities. Events include the 'One Big Thank You' morning tea, which acknowledges volunteers from around Queensland for their volunteering efforts, and a forum for volunteer managers. To find out more about the program of events, visit Volunteering Queensland.
