“Witnessing the community come together to support those in need is humbling,” said Jason Erbacher, CEO of South Burnett CTC. “It’s this spirit of solidarity that builds a stronger, more connected South Burnett, where no one is left behind.”
South Burnett CTC (CTC) extends its heartfelt thanks to the incredible South Burnett community for their overwhelming generosity during this year’s Christmas Hamper Drive.
In a year marked by rising living costs and increasing challenges, the outpouring of support from our community has been nothing short of inspiring. Thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses alike, vulnerable individuals and families across the region are able to approach the festive season with dignity, hope, and the comforting knowledge that their community cares.
“Witnessing the community come together to support those in need is humbling,” said Jason Erbacher, CEO of South Burnett CTC. “It’s this spirit of solidarity that builds a stronger, more connected South Burnett, where no one is left behind.”
The hampers, filled with essential items and thoughtful gifts, are being distributed to families facing homelessness, financial hardship, or working to rebuild their lives. These contributions carry a powerful message: South Burnett is a community where people genuinely care for one another.
This year’s drive has been a true testament to the power of community response. We’ve seen individuals and local businesses go above and beyond to support their neighbours, and we are deeply grateful for every donation, large and small.
South Burnett CTC wishes to especially thank Bill Hull Car Centre for their unwavering support and the significant effort they contributed in making this drive a success. The Can Man deserves recognition for collecting cans over 12 months to support the initiative, and Wondai Art Gallery played a crucial role by gathering gifts for families. Eva’s Place – Pregnancy Support will receive 10 hampers to distribute directly to families in need, further demonstrating the collective effort to reach those who need it most. In addition, South Burnett CTC will distribute 120 hampers to vulnerable individuals and clients enrolled in CTC programs, ensuring they too receive vital support this holiday season.
Additionally, we want to express our thanks to the following businesses and community partners for their invaluable contributions:
In addition to the physical donations, we also received a total of $1100 in cash donations. These funds will be used to purchase non-perishable items, ensuring the hampers continue to provide greater support to those in need.
Every single donation has made a tangible difference. The efforts of the South Burnett community have transformed this drive into something extraordinary, ensuring that no one is left behind this Christmas.
South Burnett CTC also acknowledges the dedication of its staff and partners, whose commitment and hard work turned this initiative into a remarkable display of care and compassion.
From all of us at South Burnett CTC: thank you. Your kindness and generosity remind us of what it truly means to be part of a community. South Burnett, you are truly awesome.
