Seeking Court Support

We provide court based support to victim survivors who have court proceedings before a Magistrates Court in relation to domestic and family violence matters at Kingaroy and Murgon.

We understand that going to court can be a stressful and difficult experience. Our workers are able to offer:

  • Information about court procedures
  • Assistance in applying for a new order or to vary the conditions on an existing order
  • Support in the safe waiting room and the courtroom
  • Post court debriefing and information
  • Safety planning
  • Referrals for ongoing support

 

You can access free specialised support over the phone or in person at one of our offices in Kingaroy, Murgon, or Nanango.

Our Programs

Safer Pathways
Safer Pathways is an early-intervention Kickstarter program for young people aged 8–17 who are exhibiting anti-social behaviours.
