Youth Support Coordinator

About

The Youth Support Coordinator (YSC) program at Nanango State High School (NSHS) supports at-risk students to remain engaged in education and to achieve positive outcomes.

 

Eligibility

  • Year 10, 11 or 12 at Nanango State High School
  • Referred through the school to the YSC

Counselling is provided for victim survivors in Cherbourg and across the South Burnett.  Our sessions take place in a safe, non-judgemental space.

Our Assessment and Response Team are trained and experienced Domestic and Family Violence Specialists who understand the impact and challenges faced by those affected by domestic and family violence.

Housing Outreach Program
This program is a partnership with the South Burnett Regional Council to deliver disaster resilience outreach services to individuals experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness, within the South Burnett Local Government Area.
