STAR Award in High Schools

15th September 2016

CTC is sponsoring  a “STAR” Award, similar to CTC’s annual internal awards,  in local high schools that can be awarded to any student, including those participating in Special Education – who demonstrates  “STAR”  qualities.  STAR stands for – “Sustained Effort, Teamwork, Attitude and Reliability”. Gumnut Place will be providing the trophy and our aim is that the award will have as much relevance to the schools and deserving students as it has to our CTC staff.  Our preference is that students who are not otherwise recognized for high academic, vocational or sporting achievements are rewarded for their best efforts to achieve to their capacity.
