SUPPORT WORKER – FULL TIME

Partners in Foster Care, Wondai

 Partners in Foster Care Support Workers recruit, train, assess and support foster carers across the South Burnett.

 Applicants must provide a resume, referee details and covering letter outlining how they meet the following broad requirements of the position:

  • an understanding of and experience in delivering the types of support a foster carer may require to meet the needs of children/young people in their care
  • experience in compiling case notes and/or assessments
  • time management and IT competency to ensure all case notes and other record keeping requirements are met
  • availability to participate on an on call roster
  • ability to meet Working with Children Card and Child Safety Suitability Checks
  • Queensland Driver’s Licence

 Qualifications in Social or Behavioural Science/Community and Human Services/Training and Assessment desirable.

TEAM LEADERS – CTC DISABILITY SERVICES

CTC Disability Services are seeking Team Leaders to coordinate Support Services for our clients and their families/carers and to mentor and supervise Support Workers across:

 

  • a comprehensive suite of supports delivered under our Certificate of Registration with the NDIS and
  • CROSB (Community Respite Options South Burnett)

 

The Support Services role is shared between two Team Leaders, one in a lead role of Client Communication & Support Coordination and the other in a lead role of Implementation and Service Delivery.

 

Applicants must provide a resume, referee details and covering letter outlining how they meet the following broad requirements of the position:

 

  • Qualifications in Disability Services or other related human services field desirable
  • A sound understanding of the support needs of people living with a disability and the needs of their families/carers
  • Experience in leading, mentoring and supervising staff
  • Highly developed communication, time management/multi-skilling and IT skills to ensure all responsibilities are met within expected timeframes
  • Availability to participate on an on call roster
  • Working with Children Blue Card and Disability Services Yellow Card or ability to acquire
  • A Queensland driver’s licence
