What is Sustaining Tenancies?
Sustaining Tenancies supports people who have a place to stay to maintain their accommodation and avoid entering homelessness.
The program is open to support people of all ages throughout the South Burnett region.
Support examples:
- Tenancy skills training
- Budgeting
- Accessing income support
- Conflict resolution
- Legal information
- Addressing rent arrears or breaches
- Referrals to specialised services
- And much more
Who will work with me?
A local Housing Support Worker will work with you to identify your goals and concerns and help you to put practical support and plans in place to address these. It is about supporting you to build your own life-long skills, knowlege and confidence to sustain tenancies.
