South Burnett CTC was proud to host the inaugural Thank a First Responder Breakfast this morning at Memorial Park, Kingaroy, bringing together community members, local organisations and frontline workers for a morning of appreciation and connection.
The event provided an opportunity for the community to recognise and thank the first responders, emergency services personnel, healthcare workers, volunteers and frontline staff who dedicate themselves to supporting others during times of need.
Attendees enjoyed breakfast, coffee and conversation while taking the time to acknowledge the invaluable contribution first responders make to the South Burnett community every day.
South Burnett CTC CEO Jason Erbacher said the event was about recognising the people who often work behind the scenes and under challenging circumstances to keep communities safe, supported and connected.
“Whether responding to emergencies, supporting families through difficult times, providing healthcare, or volunteering their time, our first responders play a critical role in the wellbeing of our communities,” he said.
“We wanted to create an opportunity for the community to come together and simply say thank you.”
South Burnett CTC extends its sincere appreciation to all first responders and frontline workers for their commitment, professionalism and service to the region.
The organisation also thanks everyone who attended the breakfast and helped make the inaugural event a success.
